The Designer—John Humphreys leads design. For a decade at Texas Rover Company, he built furniture, steelwork, and architectural details. That background shaped the way we build today: oversized beams, deliberate proportions, and finishes chosen to endure. John treats outdoor work as architecture, not backyard furniture.
The Crew—Our strength is in the crew: skilled workers who take pride in the process. Every cut, joint, and weld is done with care. We overbuild where others cut corners and keep the process simple: design → build → deliver.
Materials & Methods—We don't cut corners; we overbuild them. Our boards start in the Pacific Northwest: Douglas Fir up to 32 feet long, kiln-dried, and often free of heart. Western Red Cedar and Thermally Modified Ash join the palette when the design calls for it. Oil, not gloss. Grain, not gimmicks.
